SLCIB

One of my TOP glute exercises… Bulgarian split squats! If you’re looking to build stronger glutes and legs, here’s why these deserve a place in your programme 👇🏼 • GLUTES & QUADS — the primary muscles doing the work to extend your hip and straighten your knee. • HAMSTRINGS & ADDUCTORS — assist with hip and knee movement, alongside contributing to stability. • CALVES & CORE — help maintain balance and control throughout each rep. • BACK MUSCLES — help stabilise your torso as you perform the movement. • PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD — gradually increase the load as your strength and technique improve. Remember, it’s not about doing every exercise under the sun. It’s about choosing exercises that support YOUR goals and getting stronger at them over time. Have you got BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUATS in your programme? 🍑👇🏼 SAVE THIS for your next leg day! ✨ 💻 www.slcib.com 📧 info@slcib.com #bulgariansplitsquat #glutetraining #legday #womenwholift #fitnesstips

Tracking your calories but the scales aren’t moving? This might be for you 👇🏼 Let’s say you’re eating around 1,700 calories a day, tracking consistently, but your weight has stayed pretty much the same for several weeks. Your first thought might be: “I need to drop my calories.” But before you do that… look at your activity. If you’re averaging around 2 miles a day, spending most of your day sitting down and generally not moving very much, your overall daily energy expenditure might simply be lower than you think. And this is where steps and everyday movement matter. You don’t necessarily need to eat less. You might need to move more. That could mean: • Getting out for a daily walk • Increasing your step count • Simply being more active throughout the day For example, instead of immediately dropping from 1,700 to 1,500 calories, you could look at gradually increasing your daily movement and see what happens. More food + more movement can sometimes be a much better approach than continually eating less. And no, this doesn’t mean you have to hit 10,000 steps every single day. It means looking at YOUR current activity level and asking: “Is there room for me to increase my movement before I reduce my food further?” Because weight loss isn’t just about the number of calories you eat. It’s about the relationship between energy in AND energy out. Sometimes the answer isn’t “eat less.” Sometimes it’s “move more.” And today’s walk was a perfect reminder of that. It doesn’t need to be complicated. 💻 www.slcib.com 📧 info@slcib.com #dailymovement #weightlosstips #onlinecoach #personaltrainer #caloriedeficit

Same woman. Different body. Different confidence. 🤍 The woman on the left wouldn’t have dreamed of taking her kit off in the gym — getting down to just her shorts and sports bra. She was self-conscious. She didn’t feel comfortable in her own body and definitely didn’t want people looking at her. Fast forward to now… She’ll happily take her kit off in the gym, train in just her shorts and sports bra, take the progress photos and not give a second thought to who might be looking. Yes, her body has changed. But that’s not the biggest transformation. The biggest transformation is how she feels about herself. Training. Learning. Building muscle. Getting stronger. Staying consistent. She didn’t just build a body she was proud of. She built the confidence to own it. And that is exactly what I mean when I say: CONFIDENCE IS BUILT. 🤍 This is why I do what I do. Because building strength isn’t just about changing how your body looks. It can change how you feel, move and carry yourself every single day. Build strength. Build confidence. Live fully. 💻 www.slcib.com 📧 info@slcib.com #transformation #femaletransformation #builtnotbought #slcib #confidenceisbuilt

Your setup matters more than you think 👀 Before you start worrying about how much weight you’re lifting, make sure you’re actually in the right position to perform the movement properly. Feet planted. Hinge. Brace. Then row. A good setup gives you a stable position to work from and helps you perform the movement consistently. Don’t rush the setup — it’s part of the rep. 💪 💻 www.slcib.com 📧 info@slcib.com #gymtips #backtraining #personaltrainer #strengthtraining #backday

The gym is important. But so is this. ❤️ Building strength isn’t just about what happens during a workout. It’s about having the energy, confidence and ability to enjoy life outside the gym too. The walks. The laughs. The memories. The little moments. 🥹 Build strength. Build confidence. Live fully. 💻 www.slcib.com 📧 info@slcib.com #slcib #mumlife #mummyandme #womenwholift #strengthtraining

🖤 SOMETHING NEW IS BEING BUILT… 👀 SLCIB is stepping outside the gym. I’ve been working on something I’ve wanted to create for a while — SLCIB clothing that represents the mindset behind the brand, without feeling like traditional gym merch. I wanted pieces that feel simple, minimal and easy to wear. Clothing you can train in. Wear for the school run. Throw on for a coffee. Wear when you’re out and about. Basically… clothing you actually want to live in. And I wanted the branding to feel the same way. No huge logos taking over the entire T-shirt. No need for my face to be plastered across it. 😂 Just SLCIB, the message behind it, and clothing that feels like you. Because SLCIB has never just been about what happens inside the gym. It’s about becoming stronger, building confidence and feeling good in yourself — inside and outside the gym. And that’s exactly what I want these pieces to represent. Build strength. Build confidence. Live fully. This is just the beginning. 🖤 First pieces coming soon… 👀 💻 www.slcib.com 📧 info@slcib.com #gymwear #everydaywear #womensgymwear #confidenceisbuilt #slcib

One of my go-to exercises for training the back. A few things to focus on when using the machine: ✔️ Keep your torso controlled ✔️ Drive the elbows down rather than simply pulling with your hands ✔️ Bring the bar towards the upper chest ✔️ Control the weight on the way back up ✔️ Use a weight that allows you to maintain good technique You don’t need to chase the heaviest weight or force the bar as low as possible. Good reps > simply moving more weight. 💻 www.slcib.com 📧 info@slcib.com #latpulldown #backtraining #strengthtraining #gymtips #slcib
