January: “This is my year.” August: “πŸ«ͺ.” πŸ˜‚ And somehow, we’ve convinced ourselves that the next Monday will be different. But how many times can you keep waiting for the “perfect” time to start? A good week comes along… you’re motivated, eating well, training consistently. Then life happens. A busy week. A meal out. A birthday. A holiday. A weekend that doesn’t go to plan. And suddenly you think: “I’ve messed it up now. I’ll start again Monday.” And that’s exactly how the cycle continues. The problem usually isn’t that you don’t know what to do. It’s that you’re trying to be perfect instead of consistent. You don’t need to eat perfectly every day. You don’t need to cut out everything you enjoy. You don’t need to punish yourself after a weekend. And you definitely don’t need to keep waiting for Monday. You need to learn how to carry on when life isn’t perfect. Because progress isn’t built from the days when everything goes to plan. It’s built from what you do most of the time. So if you’ve been saying “I’ll start Monday” for the last 8 months… Maybe you don’t need another Monday. Maybe you just need to stop starting again. ❀️ πŸ’» www.slcib.com πŸ“§ info@slcib.com #relatable #mumlife #mumhumour #reallife #startingagain

11,000 steps today 🚢🏼‍β™€οΈπŸŒΏ And no, I didn’t do 11,000 steps because I’m trying to “burn off” what I ate. I walked because walking is one of the simplest ways to increase your daily movement — and it actually matters. Your workouts are important, but what you do outside the gym matters too. Walking can help you: ✨ Increase your daily energy expenditure ✨ Support cardiovascular health ✨ Improve mood and reduce stress ✨ Support recovery without putting huge amounts of stress on your body ✨ Improve general fitness and mobility ✨ Build a more active lifestyle without feeling like you have to “exercise” all day And here’s something I want more women to understand… You don’t need to hit 10,000 steps every single day for your movement to count. There’s nothing magical about the number 10,000. If you currently average 3,000 steps, getting to 5,000 is progress. If you average 5,000, getting to 7,000 is progress. The goal is to find a level of movement that fits your life and gradually build from there. You don’t need more punishment. You don’t need to walk for hours to “earn” your food. You just need to move more consistently. 🀍 11k done today… and now I’m off for some homemade mince and potatoes. πŸ˜‚πŸ₯”πŸ΄ πŸ’» www.slcib.com πŸ“§ info@slcib.com #walkingforhealth #dailymovement #womensfitness #weightlosstips #healthylifestyle

If only explaining calories was actually this simple πŸ˜‚ Calories are simply a measure of energy from the food and drinks we have. Your body uses that energy every day to keep you alive, move around, train, think and do all the things you need it to do. And when it comes to losing weight, understanding energy balance can make things a lot less complicated. It doesn’t mean you have to eat “perfectly”, cut out your favourite foods or live off chicken and broccoli. You can understand the basics, make sensible choices and still enjoy the foods you love. 🀍 Although apparently… too many calories means you need to plug yourself in. πŸ˜‚πŸ”Œ πŸ’» www.slcib.com πŸ“§ info@slcib.com #calories #weightlosstips #realisticnutrition #mumhumour #relatablereels
Trying to lose weight but still want a fizzy drink? πŸ₯€ You don’t always have to cut things out completely — sometimes you can simply make a lower-calorie choice. This one is 5 calories and zero sugar, so it’s an easy swap that saves me calories while still giving me the fizzy drink I want. πŸ˜‚ Small choices like this can make sticking to your calories that little bit easier. 🀍 πŸ’» www.slcib.com πŸ“§ info@slcib.com #mumlife #mumhumor #mumanddaughter #funnyreels #relatablereel

When someone starts working with me, yes, they may have a physical goal. They might want to lose weight, build muscle, get stronger or feel better in their clothes. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But I don’t want that to be the only thing they gain from working with me. I want them to walk into the gym with confidence. I want them to feel stronger. I want them to trust themselves and what they’re capable of. I want them to realise that missing one workout doesn’t mean they’ve failed. I want them to feel proud of how far they’ve come. Because for me, coaching isn’t just about changing how you look. It’s about building a stronger relationship with yourself. That’s what Confidence Is Built means to me. 🀍 πŸ’» www.slcib.com πŸ“§ info@slcib.com
Your nutrition plan should fit your lifestyle — not the other way around. 🀍

Your nutrition plan should fit your lifestyle — not the other way around. 🀍 One of my online clients recently told me that this was her favourite meal from her plan… so she asked if we could double it up. Of course we could. πŸ‘πŸΌ So this meal is now a much bigger portion, which is why you can see the calories are higher. And honestly? This is exactly what personalised nutrition should look like. It doesn’t have to be: ❌ Eating the same amount of food every day ❌ Having every meal split into perfectly even calories ❌ Avoiding your favourite foods because they’re “too high calorie” Instead, it should be about finding a way of eating that works for you. If you love a particular meal, why shouldn’t we make more of it? If you prefer fewer, bigger meals, we can work around that. If your routine changes, your nutrition can change with it. Your plan should support your goals while still fitting into your actual life. Because I don’t want to give you a nutrition plan that looks perfect on paper. I want to help you build something you can genuinely enjoy, stick to and make part of your lifestyle. 🀍 Personalised nutrition means personalised to YOU. πŸ’» www.slcib.com πŸ“§ info@slcib.com #personalisednutrition #onlinecoach #onlinecoaching #sustainablenutrition #healthyeating
What are you working towards? 🀍 I think it’s actually really important to have something you’re working towards. Because what happens when you finally reach the goal you’ve been working so hard for… and then you don’t have anything else? You can almost end up thinking, “Well, what now?” or “What’s the point?” And I don’t mean you constantly need to be trying to change yourself or chasing a bigger goal. Sometimes your next goal can be completely different. Maybe you want to get stronger. Try something you’ve never done before. Feel more confident. Improve your relationship with food. Or just have something that gets you excited to keep going. Your goals will change throughout life, and that’s okay. Just always give yourself something to look forward to. 🀍 So, what are you working towards right now? πŸ‘‡πŸΌ πŸ’» www.slcib.com πŸ“§ info@slcib.com #slcib #confidenceisbuilt #womensfitness #fitnessjourney #fitnessmindset
